This is a website which is a kind of a social media but with a purpose of social welfare where NGO's and citizens can connect and together bring development.
The problem ConnecTTogether solves
The major problem currently is citizens can't find proper sources to come forward and help the society in the way they wish.They need to search for NGO's individually and proceed but here since its a common platform for all NGO's of all domains the individuals can easily find according to their domain of interest.On the other hand,NGO's don't easily find a platform to connect directly with the common people that are willing to work.So here they make announcements about their events,raise funds,allot work to volunteers and much more.Also,NGO's of similar domains can collaborate and work together.The problem of "fake NGO's" is solved by asking for 'proofs' from NGO's while registering which will be verified by admin.
Challenges I ran into
The feature of 'recommendations' if an individual is interested in a particular domain and an organisation works for the same then the individual and the organisation will be recommended to connect with each other.
I solved it by prior asking some questions during registration and then by simple coding making combinations of it.
