Compifiler

The Ultimate Flexing website for all your competitive programming achievements!

The problem Compifiler solves

The ultimate stop for all the competitive coders! Much like a dashboard for competitive coding, it displays the statistics for all the competitive programming sites that an user may have signed up for, and has participation in.
Most of the time, when people tend to showcase their achievements, for example, the number of stars on hackerrank or the no of badges they have on leetcode- they tend to clutter their resumes and other profiles like linkedin & github profile readme-s with multiple links of all of these competitive programming websites- checking all of them at once may be cumbersome for the people who are viewing their profiles as they have to open each link everytime they want to see the statistics. With the help of this website however, the viewer can view only the statistics of all the profiles set by the user, all at once.

It would be helpful to embed a single link to all the competitive programming profiles via this website-since most of the times, spamming on socials with I got my first star! & Today I completed this problem-like share & comment please bothers sometimes. Especially when you have multiple connections posting the same kind of content daily.

-Has a simple interface, with the statistics of the coding website profile details of the user
-The user can choose the number of profiles they want to display in their dashboard.

Challenges I ran into

Teammates pulled out from the hackathon within a short notice, so had to rethink decisions regarding the project. As an UI/UX designer, had to improvise code into the project, learning a lot along the way. Since most of the project is based on fetching data from competitive programming websites including the use of APIs, had to substitute them with a placeholder image and website.

Morever, the demo video has subtitles as I was not sure if my voice could be heard clearly while being in a room full of people.
