The one stop for all your JEE related needs!
- The purpose of this project is to provide a single platform for parents and students to get all the information needed based on one’s college wishlist.
- As freshers, we were overwhelmed with the process of selecting/shortlisting colleges during the transition period from school to college.
- There was no single platform to help predict and display important aspects in one place on one go.
Thus, we plan to create a web application to ease off the burden of finding suitable colleges customized on an individual basis with one stop, COLINFO!
Challenges we ran into
Problems we faced
- As we are freshers, we learnt a lot of technologies in which were not fully fluent in like react js and tailwind css, but learnt a lot through the entire week of coding.
- This being our first hackathon, we faced issues regarding how to go about the whole process and understanding how to use the given time judiciously.
- It was imperative for us to come together to work and put all of our menial knowledge to make a product that was actually useful and can be made functionally.
- Our prime focus was to make the product more inclusive and user friendly.
- We also ran into a bug that came up on the very last day during the deployment of our websites, but we worked together and figured out a solution
