Virtual clinics have been proposed as a method of reducing costs and improving services in the National Health Service (NHS). The aim of this research was to assess the attitudes of clinicians and patients towards virtual consultations in order to fight against the covid-19 pandemic.
We have created such a structure as both web application and a mobile app. We have used React.js as frontend, Graphql and Socket.io as backend and react-native as app to create such a structure. The application involves all the technical points needed for a virtual clinic structure including a multi-user video conference, notifications for appointments on both mobile and application, a secure system to facilitate the interface between doctors and patients etc.
