The problem CodeMate solves

Firstly freshers and that too in online sem and on top of that, the contests and hackathons start the moment we enter the college, but how to get yourself a peer group with whom you share common interests and compatibility. So, here’s from where the idea for our app “CodeMate” comes up. This app helps you find like-minded people for your projects and contests. So, you just need to register to our app, create your profile and then you can explore the profiles of other techies and contact those with whom you share common interests. Besides, the app also provides us with the information of upcoming contests on popular online judges.

Challenges we ran into

Fetching the data from the database and updating it in the frontend came up as an issue to us but, to overcome that we made seperate lists for each field and stored data from the stream in it. Then displayed the data using loop.
