CodeCrew solves this by connecting GitHub with smart contracts, allowing maintainers to fund issues and contributors to earn crypto automatically when their pull requests are merged, turning open-source contributions into on-chain rewards.

Syncing GitHub PRs and Issues with smart contracts in a trustless yet flexible way
Handling contributor claims and race conditions (e.g., multiple people working on the same issue)
Designing a clean UX that abstracts away blockchain complexity for developers
Managing wallet-GitHub identity linking without compromising user privacy
Building a GitHub App that reliably listens to webhooks and securely triggers on-chain actions
