The problem CodeConnect solves

Our project is a utility website to make developer collaboration a easier and smoother process. We provide a common platform for programmers to be able to work and interact easily, with a smooth and intuitive UI. Users can log into our website using their github accounts, or create their own account. This allows easy access to the user's developer profile and others can view. Users can create posts to share their thoughts, and blogs to share their difficulties and help others if they have the same issues. There is a chill section where users can listen to music and view memes from reddit. Users can search their queries and will be given answers fetched from stackoverflow. All these features reduce the chaos that a programmer has to go through in the middle of a hackathon, or any other coding event or project. Instead of visiting various websites, our concept is to get all the resources a developer needs onto 1 platform. This platform can be used by teams participating in a hackathon, organizers who want to monitor their particpants, etc.

Challenges we ran into

The challenge majorly faced was pertaining to accessing oAuth and Access-Control error... The database was formed appropriately but corse made things difficult. In frontend, merging of video as background was challenging and so was the side drawer for dashboard navigation.
