The problem Code Monks solves
Students generally tend to miss major hackathons/events/contents and mainly the internship opportunities. Our project helps coding enthusiasts to keep track of all the major events on our website.
A simple website that will tell and notify the users about the ongoing/present programs/contests/hackathons/internships related to the coding domain.
Challenges we ran into
It was really difficult to scrape data from these websites. the HTML code was weird. we had to learn a new language for the project, which was difficult to comprehend,
It was difficult to identify uniques classes for particular data. We had to distinguish between fake and real class names, also bootstrap class names were also involved which we had to ignore.
Also for making the website responsive on various devices we faced many problems like the content was overflowing that is why we have to introduce bootstrap in our project.
