The problem Co Assist solves

In this pandemic situation people throughout the world are stuck in a position where they cannot decide what is right and what is wrong. There is no proper system for keeping track of the people who have been affected by this virus and that makes it difficult for the people to interact with people around them without a second thought or of the fear to get infected. This is one of the major issues that people are facing. It has become difficult to organize get together and have fun as it is difficult to determine the number of people to invited according to the space available in order to properly follow the COVID social distancing guidelines. One more such problem in the midst of this pandemic is the judgement of maintaining proper distance from people in public places such as offices, parks, buses etc. Our app is a single solution to overcome all these problems and enjoy the life to the fullest without going against the COVID guidelines.

Challenges we ran into

Implementing each and every feature in the app was very challenging as we had to develop models that had to be very accurate as this was related to a persons health and life. We had to make different Machine Learning models for each of the functionalities.
One of the biggest challenges for us was to integrate all the models in a single app and reduce the size of the models so that the app doesn't get too heavy.
But in-spite of all these challenges we were successfully able to integrate everything and make a working app.
