Social media application based on people's interest in games and anonymous identity among a club. It involves a 2D virtual world that contains a range of activities.
The problem Club Penguins solves
- There is no social media app that lets users chat anonymously in a virtual world.
- So Club Penguins is the idea to overcome this.
- Users use cartoon penguin avatars and communicate in a virtual world without losing their real-time position.
- It includes features offering an "Ultimate Safe Chat" mode, whereby users can also select their comments from a menu; filtering that prevented swearing and the revelation of personal information.
Challenges we ran into
- Showing user's current position in not only his/her screen but also on the other user's screen who are connected in the same club
- Adding chat functionality
- Finding the right assets to create a perfect theme.
