The problem Closet.io solves
The problem statement that a virtual wardrobe app solves is the difficulty and inconvenience of managing a physical wardrobe.
Many people struggle with cluttered and disorganized wardrobes, making it challenging to find specific clothing items, create new outfit combinations, or get an accurate picture of what they own. This can lead to frustration, wasted time, and unnecessary spending on new clothing items.
Additionally, many people struggle with developing their own unique style, which can result in a lack of confidence and self-esteem. This is especially true for people who may not have a lot of experience or knowledge about fashion.
A virtual wardrobe app solves these problems by providing users with an easy and efficient way to manage their wardrobe, create outfits, and get personalized style recommendations. By using a virtual wardrobe app, users can save time and money, reduce waste, and improve their style with confidence.
Challenges we ran into
In order to carry out our project we had to implement Augmented Reality and Machine Learning.
Implementation of AR was difficult since we all had no prior experience in that field. Somehow we just implemented Avatar with libraries and 3rd party websites. And it took major time for our team.
Implementation of Machine learning is left since designing , developing and deploying website itself also connect to backend was time taking.
Also we had to look for a suitable method on how we can deploy our site.
We have further plans to completely refine and improve our website and add further feature which we did not had time to implement. There are lots of features which we will be adding to our project.
