The problem Classroom Companion solves

Due to the covid pandemic, education has suffered a major setback. Because of the pandemic, the mode and sources of education have changed a lot . Many people still are not able to adapt to the ongoing situation because of various reasons.So to help them adjust with the situation we have built an app that can provide features like sharing info about different coding competitions, manage plans,build a todo list etc. Our app also has a discussion forum which user can use to interact with other people and share their knowledge, resources and experiences .In our app students can interact with experts of their university to help them and let them grow their skill set. Our app also provides information about different coding competitions that are organised by different coding platforms.So our app is a one stop destination which fulfills all the needs of a student .

Challenges we ran into

1. One of the major challenges was to generate an api key for google classroom api
2. Setting up the database for many users and integrating it with backend.
3. Trying to scrape websites for various contests and job related stuff.
4. Google classroom integration and auto google meet link detector are still being worked on.
