Class Connect is not just another student engagement web application. It is a revolutionary platform that transforms the way students connect and engage in learning.
The problem Class Connect solves
Class Connect, or simply "Class Co", is an interactive learning program designed for students and teachers. Enhances all aspects of learning by:
- For students :
- Dashboard : Students can easily track their learning, view badges, awards and performance reviews (via Graph representation). They can get a clear view of pending assignments and upcoming classes (calender Included).
- Take notes : Easily write, edit, delete and save it to improve the quality of learning.
Interactive quizzes : Take interactive quizzes created by teachers who plan to teach gamified learning for fun. - Assignment : Follow the teacher's instructions and carefully submit the work in different formats.
Vocabulary Builder : Improve skills and strengthen communication skills with daily vocabulary progression. - Chat Features : Access interactive chat in school evidence to communicate with friends and teachers, encourage collaboration, and solve questions effectively.
- For teachers :
- Dashboard : Learn about student performance, tracking, tests, students and class performence graphs and statistics and overall status.
- Quiz Upload : Easily upload and conduct quiz for students.
- Assignment Management : Make it easy to submit students' work ( i.e Self made video & PPT submission ) by providing them with clear instructions and deadlines of the Assignments.
- Track Attendence : Make it easy to track each student's attendence via QR codes with plans to digitize the process of the Attendence.
- Chat : Have educational discussions and shares with students on the open server to create a collaborative learning experience.
Overall, Class Connect simplifies the learning process, encourages collaboration, and facilitates effective communication between students and teachers, ultimately improving learning for all users.
Challenges we ran into
Quiz System for developing interest among Students:- we tried to give the quiz made by teachers in specific Subjects in such a interactive and gamified way for giving it not as a part of exams but solving it as a part of interactive way.we gave background songs to the quiz being performed and sound effects for right and wrong answers.after successful quiz completion,we gave a review of their quiz being participated.
Scalability:- Ensuring scalability has been critical. we tried to design application architectures to handle large numbers of users without sacrificing performance. This includes optimizing code, leveraging scalable infrastructure, and implementing efficient data management methods.
Chat Section:- Chat Access to the Chat between Students and teachers and also between tecahers was also a challenging task including the features including features involved seperate login authentication for it and features like showing peers active by a special sign,chatting in a interactive way by giving emojis,real time updates,providing notifications for sent messages.
