In a game world, backed by belief where your favourite tokens become mons in a crypto creature collect RPG, where their market performance impacts their stats and rarity in game.

Clankermon is a fully onchain game built on base and the farcaster social graph.

Players can train, trade and adventure with their clankermon throughout the game world, looting dungeons, completing quests and their journey.

Building games is hard, building onchain games is harder - but we believe casual gaming with value bearing assets is the ultimate onchain consumer experience - so we ate glass for 9 months and took a loose concept and crafted it into foundations for a crypto creature collect RPG that reimagines crypto concepts in fun playful ways that can be consumed by the masses.

One of biggest issue in designing fully onchain games is the contract size limit (changing later this year) - we had to go through many iterations of our contract design to stay within the 24kb limit, we started with diamond - very powerful but severely under tooled making it cumbersome to manage - we ultimately opted to build the subsequent chapter primarily using UUPS contracts that share hash value systems for immutable identifiers and flexile configurations, with interlinked permissions systems to achieve desired game mechanics.
