The problem Chirothesia solves

The software is designed to provide expeditious assistance to acid attack survivors during emergency situations. It offers users the ability to immediately contact emergency services or access a supportive network of fellow survivors, counselors, and legal experts. Moreover, the app furnishes valuable information concerning medical interventions, legal entitlements, and psychological counseling. It also serves as a liaison between survivors and organizations that provide rehabilitation, vocational training, and financial support. The app's feature enabling survivors to share their stories anonymously or publicly engenders a sense of community and social support. Consequently, survivors can regain agency over their lives and find the necessary resources and support to recuperate and flourish, thanks to this application.

Challenges we ran into

Our project encountered several challenges during its development. Establishing a supportive community posed a considerable obstacle, necessitating the implementation of appropriate strategies to engender a sense of togetherness among survivors. Additionally, the integration of the website and application proved to be a daunting task that required the utilization of advanced techniques to ensure seamless functionality. Another challenge was parsing the website's content into the application, which involved employing sophisticated algorithms to transfer the web content to the app. Furthermore, the incorporation of Google Maps into the application presented its own set of challenges, requiring the mastery of cutting-edge technologies to achieve the desired results. Despite these challenges, our team successfully overcame them and created a robust and effective application that provides invaluable support to acid attack survivors.
