The problem CHILLSWIPE solves
Prediction markets are typically intimidating, technical, and slow. Most platforms are built for crypto-native users and ignore real fan behavior.
ChillSwipe solves this by introducing a swipe-based, mobile-native prediction experience that's intuitive, social, and engaging. Fans can easily stake fan tokens like $PSG or $BAR on match-related predictions without needing to understand crypto complexities.
It also brings real utility to fan tokens — each prediction market is tied to a specific token, encouraging holders to engage and giving tokens a clear use beyond speculation.
The platform includes features like AI chatbot support for explaining predictions, a leaderboard, user bet history, and a seamless staking and claim flow that makes the process transparent and enjoyable.
Challenges we ran into
One of the main challenges was connecting smart contracts on the Spicy Testnet to a smooth and responsive frontend. To reduce wallet pop-ups, we had to experiment with account abstraction strategies and session handling.
Wallet integration was another challenge, especially with Socios Wallet, which lacks standard Web3 compatibility. We solved this by extending the RainbowKit system with a custom connector approach for Socios.
Managing the full market lifecycle—creating, resolving, and claiming—within one contract required designing an efficient on-chain flow and payout algorithm. We also had to prevent double-claim issues and ensure clarity for users.
Building the swipe-based UI was also a UX challenge, as most prediction platforms rely on static forms. We had to build a responsive, gesture-friendly interface that still connects cleanly with blockchain logic.
