The problem Chat Comic solves
This app transforms digital conversations into lasting visual memories, capturing humor, emotions, and creative moments. It allows users to turn text-based chats into personalized, shareable content like comics, enhancing storytelling and social media engagement. By preserving the nuances of communication, the app helps users document their most memorable interactions. It showcases the creative potential of AI, making conversations more engaging, fun, and accessible. This tool also supports various communication preferences, providing a unique way to reminisce and share life’s funniest and most meaningful moments.
Challenges we ran into
Extracting Descriptions from Photos:
Initially, we used the dlib library to analyze image details. However, it struggled to capture many crucial features accurately, leading to unsatisfactory results. To address this, we switched to the Face++ API, but even then, the extracted details were not up to the desired standard.
Errors During YAML Documentation:
While working on YAML documentation, we encountered several server errors, including 500, 504, and 400. These issues caused delays but were eventually resolved after thorough debugging and adjustments.
Optimizing Image Feature Extraction:
Initially, we used the dlib library to extract details from the image. However, it failed to capture several crucial features. To address this, we switched to the Face++ API, but the issue persisted. Eventually, we combined cv2, DeepFace, and KMeans to analyze various facial features. This approach allowed us to successfully extract the critical details from the character imag
