The problem ChannelSense solves

ChannelSense is built on real needs from the Farcaster builder community.

Users have explicitly asked for tools that can:

• Summarize channel activity and mood
• Automatically welcome newcomers
• Identify top contributors
• Manage channel membership

Answer natural language questions like:
“Why does the channel feel less active this week?”
“Who are the founders in /founders who need cofounders?”

Challenges we ran into

During development, the biggest hurdle was getting real analytics of user activity in a Farcaster channel via the Neynar API, since there was no direct endpoint for statistics.
We solved this by using the endpoint for fetching channel casts and counting user activity manually on the backend.
This allowed us to integrate real data into the AI responses.
