Onchain TCG Where You Really Own The Cards
The problem Chainsmokers TCG solves
Chainsmokers TCG is a fully onchain TCG game in a cyberpunk setting. Users can crack packs, own and trade cards on-chain. The main target of the game is a deep gameplay and true asset ownership. Current onchain TCGs are way too simple (like Splinterlands) and in classic online TCGs (like MTG or Hearthstone) you do not really own the cards. We have decided to design our own TCG and put the digital cards onchain.
Challenges we ran into
The Game Engine for a TCG is a really hard thing to accomplish. Even if you are implementing two or three mechanics it is a hard thing. Now we understand why the games like MTG break on each release.
Also, Avalanche Testnet have banned us a couple of times that made our testing horrible and we were not able to record a demo because of it :(
