The problem ChainCertify: RSA-Accumulator Cert Management. solves
ChainCertify addresses shortcomings in the issuance and revocation of certificates in centralized systems. With its decentralized nature and data integrity, this system enables us to allocate and manage certificates within a specific environment (e.g., university, ...). We can efficiently share our credentials with potential employers, ensuring swift and transparent transactions, which greatly facilitates the recruitment process.
With emerging technologies, we can securely share essential certificate information, preventing leaks of sensitive data. Issuing through smart contracts enhances transparency, verification, and guards against fraudulent issuance or revocation of certificates
Challenges we ran into
During the development of this system, we encountered challenges in designing the architecture to align with practical requirements. Integrating new technologies like RSA Accumulator, BOS, etc., into the smart contract proved difficult due to limited library support. With time constraints, we proposed solutions by streamlining the system, simplifying certain components, and omitting non-essential elements.
Due to time constraints, our team couldn't finalize the project to its fullest potential. In the future, we plan to complete this concept and incorporate additional cutting-edge technologies.
