Certacablock: Empowering trust in education with blockchain-powered academic certificates.

The problem Certacablock solves

Certacablock solves the problem of fraudulent academic certificates by leveraging blockchain technology. It provides a secure and immutable platform for issuing and verifying certificates, ensuring authenticity and eliminating the risk of tampering. Users can easily verify educational qualifications without relying on centralized authorities, thus simplifying the verification process and enhancing trust in academic credentials.

Challenges I ran into

During the deployment of Certacablock using Remix, I encountered a specific issue related to gas estimation and transaction execution. Remix was throwing errors indicating that the gas provided was insufficient, leading to failed deployment attempts.
To resolve this, I adjusted the gas limit parameter in Remix to accommodate the transaction's computational requirements and contract deployment costs. Additionally, I ensured that MetaMask (connected to Base Sepolia) was properly configured with enough ETH to cover gas fees.
This adjustment allowed me to successfully deploy Certacablock on Ethereum Layer 2 (Base Sepolia) using Remix, ensuring that the deployment process was smooth and error-free.
