Why are certain animals endangered, and what is being done to prevent their extinction?

There are endangered species found all around the world, in every sort of
habitat. Every day, many different creatures are affected, some even going into
extinction! This is usually because of human interference. It is a topic of a great
importance to us because these endangered species are important for our planet.
The easiest way to help endangered species is to learn about those animals that
are most vulnerable within our area. Are there any state parks or reservations
near campus? Are there any endangered animals or species of concern within
our region? Learning these facts will help us become more aware of the
ecosystem. 🐯

So the project is an attempt to bridge the gap between people(mid aged
children) and their knowledge about endangered animals. The project aims to
build a game where the player has to map the animals to the continents where
they live. The web app would have the option to get to know all the interesting
facts about that animal, helping the young minds to learn more and become a
part of the ecosystem - preserving the future. 🐾

Based on the number of correct answers they would be rewarded some celo
tokens which they could use to buy an NFT of their favourite endangered
animal. This way they could create their own virtual sanctuary and the funds
collected could be provided to the Wildlife Sanctuaries using which they could
properly take care of the animals. 🌈

This is similar to adopting an animal virtually! ✨🐼
