Challenges we ran into

MongoDB Challenges:

$near Query Issues: Encountered difficulties with the $near predefined query in MongoDB, causing errors in determining user availability at specific hackathons. Rigorous debugging and exploration of MongoDB documentation were necessary to resolve the issue.

Flutter Challenges:

Firebase Integration: Integration of real-time notifications through Firebase posed challenges, requiring a comprehensive understanding of authentication processes and meticulous implementation to ensure seamless communication between the application and Firebase.

User Location Challenges/Optimizing Challenges:

Filtering Users from Large Lists: Faced challenges in efficiently filtering users from a large list, necessitating the implementation of strategies such as indexing and pagination to enhance search and retrieval performance.

Periodic Location Updates: Implementing a mechanism for sending location updates based on changes or specific time and while if the user is in hackathon then automatically will added to list of availablity person. Systematic coding and the incorporation of background processes were essential to accurately track and update user locations.
