Traditional MRV (Measurement, Reporting, and Verification) is slow, costly, and centralized, preventing small farms from earning fair compensation for real sustainability efforts like regenerative agriculture and soil carbon sequestration. Companies also struggle to verify if their carbon credits genuinely reduce emissions.

Our project provides a seamless user experience by integrating directly into Telegram Mini Apps, giving access to nearly 1 billion users without requiring additional downloads or complex onboarding.

Users open our Telegram Mini App, allowing them to participate in decentralized MRV (Measurement, Reporting, and Verification).
📍 Submit Data (GPS & Photo Verification)
Users take a photo of their sustainable action (e.g., soil carbon test, reforestation, regenerative farming).
They send their GPS location and upload the photo directly via Telegram.

The data is sent to our ICP (Internet Computer Protocol) backend, where it is securely stored in a tamper-proof canister, ensuring decentralization and transparency.

The system verifies if the photo was taken within a predefined geofenced area to prevent fraudulent submissions.

The submission is reviewed by the DAO (decentralized autonomous organization) on ICP.

Development Process with UC Berkeley Team
Our UC Berkeley team used an agile approach, rapidly iterating with ICP mentors during ETHDenver Buildathon. Caedin started at the UC Berkeley Entrepreneurship Hub before flying in. Paul was onsite full-time, refining smart contracts, storage, and DAO governance through mentor-led architecture reviews.
We optimized geofencing, Telegram Mini App integration, and reward automation, using Git for version control and Cursor AI for development.
