The problem Calculated Farming solves

This project addresses the issue of medicine wastage among farmers by providing an accurate calculation of the number of medicine bottles required based on the size of their land and the medicine bottle volume. Farmers often end up purchasing more medicine than needed, leading to waste. This solution helps them calculate exactly how many bottles are required for their land size, preventing overbuying and ensuring they only purchase what is necessary.

Key Features:

  1. Calculation of Required Medicine Bottles: The app allows users to input their land measurement and bottle size. The system calculates the exact number of medicine bottles required based on these inputs, providing an efficient way to prevent wastage.

  2. Knowledge Exploration: An "Explore" section is included, where users can gain more insights on the right usage of medicines based on land size, optimizing the application of medicine.

  3. User Authentication: The app uses Firebase Authentication for secure user login, ensuring that only authenticated users can access their previous calculations and save new data.

  4. Data Storage with Firebase Firestore: Firebase Firestore is used to store user data, including past calculations. This allows users to access their calculation history, making it easier to track and reuse past information for future use.

  5. Feedback Section: A feedback section is integrated, enabling users to provide suggestions or comments about the app, helping improve its functionality over time.

  6. Home Section with Spline: The home page of the application features beautiful visualizations using Spline for a more engaging and visually appealing user experience.

Tech Stack:

  • Frontend: React.js and Tailwind CSS. React powers the interactive components and manages user state, while Tailwind CSS ensures a clean, responsive, and modern UI.
  • Backend: Firebase Firestore serves as the backend database for storing user activity and calculation data

Challenges I ran into

The responsibility of impact on farming industry if the project has some biases but it can be resolved by trial , error, learning loop method.
