ByteBeat
The Project is called ByteBeat a combination website of both techy world and cultural world. Our website is divided into two parts : 1. The Contests and 2. The Fests
The problem ByteBeat solves
It provides a fresh platform that helps students to explore contests and fest simultaneously.
It allows access to both worlds at the same time just a fingertip away from access.
We have categorized different types of coding contests under 3 heads :
- This Month (Which is going to hold the same month)
- Upcoming (Events which are going to be held in the next month)
- Past (Events that are already over)
This helps students to keep track of all the events in real-time so he never misses any.
We can also keep track of all the fest so the student never misses any fun either.
Challenges we ran into
We faced a lot of challenges:
This was our first-ever hackathon.
While designing the website incorporated 2 different worlds of college that is coding and fests.
We also had to find the required API for fetching the data needed and then study its document in great detail.
There were many CSS issues.
Incorporating animations in our Project.
