Today, an average internet user uses many applications and services to help himself/herself in his/her daily tasks. And most of them only offer services once a user is registered.
This registration hell causes difficulty in remembering login credentials for all of the applications / websites. Thus, users sometimes end up using the same login credentials across multiple applications.
As we all know, reusing the same passwords across multiple applications causes a great threat to data security as if one is compromised then there are very high chances that the other accounts registered with the same password may get compromised.
Even if the passwords are kept different, they are sometimes too easy to crack via some type of dictionary attack as most users use their pet names or birth dates, etc as their passwords.
To solve the above stated problem, there is a need to organize andmaintain passwords securely. There are many password managers in the market right now, but most ofthem are paid or cut on services in their free plan.
So we decided to create a password manager that is free, secure and easy-to-use. That lead to the idea of ByePass Password Manager.
One instance, the app somehow stopped running and started giving errors. We tried to go back to the previous versions but the error persisted. And it broke on everybody's laptop one by one. We then tried creating a new project and copying the source code to the new project. And to our surprise, it worked.
