Accessible Virtual Try-Ons : Our AR features cater to persons with disabilities, offering them virtual try-on options to enhance accessibility and inclusivity. This not only provides equal opportunities for everyone but also helps reduce return rates by allowing customers to make more informed purchasing decisions.

Geographical Shopping Access : By introducing AR-based virtual stores, we overcome geographical constraints, allowing individuals from remote areas to access comprehensive shopping experiences without the need for VR technology. This expands access to a wider range of products and services, making shopping easier and more convenient for everyone.

Challenges we ran into

Challenges we ran into :
While developing our project, we encountered several challenges that required creative solutions. One of the primary hurdles we faced was creating accurate 3D models of objects to be used in the augmented reality (AR) experience. This task proved to be complex and time-consuming, requiring expertise in 3D modeling and design. Additionally, rendering 3D images of the objects to test their functionality within the AR environment posed another significant challenge. Ensuring that the AR application could accurately render the 3D images in real-time and provide a seamless user experience required careful optimization and testing. we faced additional hurdles such as linking Firebase to our application. Integrating Firebase for real-time data storage and retrieval posed a significant challenge, as it required thorough understanding and implementation of the platform's functionalities. Additionally, ensuring seamless communication between Firebase and our AR application demanded meticulous testing and debugging to address any compatibility issues or data synchronization errors.

To address the challenge of creating accurate 3D models, we explored various free assets available and experimented with different platforms. Eventually, we concluded that Unity was the most compatible with the tech stack we were using, providing the necessary tools and resources to streamline our development process. Despite these challenges, our team remained resilient, leveraging collaborative efforts and problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles and deliver a high-quality AR shopping experience. Through dedication and perseverance, we successfully navigated through the complexities of development, ultimately achieving our goal of revolutionizing the shopping experience with augmented reality technology.
