The problem Bumpcast.fun solves

-Complexity and Cost: Creating and trading tokens traditionally require significant technical knowledge and financial resources, creating barriers for many users.

-Centralized Liquidity Management: Traditional token launches and liquidity management are centralized and inefficient, increasing the risk of rug pulls and financial losses for traders.

-Fragmented Ecosystem: Current memecoin platforms separate token launch, trading, and community engagement, lacking integrated governance tools, leading to instability and weak community cohesion.

Challenges we ran into

Transaction Costs and On-Chain Data Storage: To minimize transaction costs for users, most of the data is stored using inexpensive on-chain methods like logs, necessitating the use of off-chain indexing to parse and format the data. As the number of smart contracts managed by our platform grows with the user base, this posed a significant challenge to our service performance. Additionally, on a high-performance chain like Base, achieving near real-time data updates and pushes required extreme optimization of our indexer and transaction parsing code.

Coordination Between On-Chain and Off-Chain Data: To enhance user experience, reduce costs, and ensure the security of transaction activities, we stored some user data on on-chain servers while storing sensitive transaction data on-chain through smart contract interactions. We had to resolve the coordination between on-chain and off-chain server data, ensuring consistency and reliability between the two.

Visualization of Transaction Charts: We encountered numerous issues with transaction visualization charts, aiming to create a professional, high-performance, and accurate chart for users. After sending dozens of emails and weeks of communication, we successfully integrated with a professional chart provider. To handle the anticipated large user and transaction volume, we optimized the backend of the chart data, significantly reducing the frontend load and improving page response speed.

Token Model and Market Making Curve: We conducted extensive research on the token model and market making curve. To ensure the accuracy of user transactions, we designed our own liquidity and trading curves through a week of research and rigorous mathematical derivation, making them perfectly compatible with Uniswap's curves. This allows users to enjoy a smooth and accurate trading experience on both our platform and Uniswap.
