I'm participating in the Based LatAm Buildathon to solve a problem that local event organizers face, such as high fees from traditional ticketing platforms, scams on resales, inflated resale prices, and high costs for integrating NFT ticketing into existing Web2 platforms. My goal is to support and grow the adoption of blockchain technology in Latin America, while connecting with local communities and other innovators. By expanding the reach of our no-code NFT ticketing platform, I can contribute to strengthening the regional Web3 ecosystem by providing event organizers with tools to create events and offer their attendees NFT tickets.
With the help of Base, I’m addressing several key challenges faced by local event organizers, such as high fees from traditional ticketing platforms, counterfeit tickets, scalping, and inflated resale prices, which lead to overcrowding and lost revenue. My platform offers an easy-to-use solution with low gas fees, allowing organizers to create events and issue secure NFT tickets, reducing scams and enhancing attendee engagement. It also provides tools for exclusive access, participation verification, and even verifying the real builders in the ecosystem. Additionally, it lowers the high costs and steep learning curve associated with integrating NFT ticketing into existing Web2 platforms, supporting the broader adoption of blockchain technology in Latin America.
Our submission addresses key challenges by offering a cost-effective ticketing platform that eliminates high fees from traditional systems, enabling local event organizers to issue NFT tickets directly. This significantly reduces risks from counterfeit tickets, scalping, and inflated resale prices by ensuring verified and secure transactions. It also provides enhanced engagement tools such as loyalty programs, exclusive access, and verifiable participation, boosting attendee involvement. Additionally, the platform simplifies NFT ticketing integration with Web2 platforms through a seamless API, lowering costs and reducing the learning curve. By utilizing the Talent Protocol API, the platform verifies the real builders in the ecosystem, adding credibility and authenticity to event participation.
We iterated several times on our pitch, and we improved it thanks to our mentorship with the Base latam team.
We also had some issues implementing the crossmint api that creates an email into a wallet to our API, but ultimately solved it and allowed non web3 users to login using email.
Cheering for a project means supporting a project you like with as little as 0.0025 ETH. Right now, you can Cheer using ETH on Arbitrum, Optimism and Base.
