Most spiritual moments online are ephemeral and centralized (social posts, notes apps). They get lost, censored, or shut down. BuddhaBless gives people a quiet, permanent, verifiable place to pray.

What people use it for

• Record prayers/intentions immutably on-chain (timestamped, unfakeable).
• Keep a private, minimal ritual without joining a platform or giving data.
• Create transparent offerings (donations) with an auditable trail.
• Host shared intentions for remote groups/communities and diasporas.
• Preserve memorials or milestone moments that shouldn’t disappear.

Why it’s easier/safer

• No accounts/passwords; wallet connect only.
• Censorship-resistant and always-on (not tied to any single server).
• Low-friction UX: simple submit → on-chain record → optional receipt/anonymous

Challenges I ran into

Challenges I ran into

One of the biggest challenges was figuring out a unified way for people to interact with the chain.

The purpose of BuddhaBless is that every prayer should be permanently recorded on-chain. That requires wallet interaction, but not all users have a crypto wallet or are familiar with Web3 flows.

This creates a tension between accessibility and authenticity:

• If we only support wallets, we limit reach to crypto-native users.
• If we allow anyone to submit off-chain and later relay to mainnet, we risk breaking the “direct, verifiable link” between the user and their prayer.

It’s less of a technical bug and more of a product strategy challenge. I’ve explored hybrid approaches (e.g. relayers, custodial accounts, optional wallet abstraction), but the trade-offs between user experience, security, and permanence remain ongoing design questions.
