For creators: Currently, creator coins are mostly limited to traders and superfans. Artists and creators struggle to distribute their coins efficiently.
For gamers/fans: Web3 concepts feel complicated—wallets, tokens, and trading aren’t beginner-friendly. Casual gamers are left out of the creator economy because engagement feels like finance, not fun.

Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest hurdles we faced was making the game feel smooth and fun while also shipping under tight deadlines. Since Bubble Banger is just a 1-minute game, even small lags or clunky interactions would break the experience, so we had to optimize rendering and reward distribution to keep gameplay fast and seamless.
On the Web3 side, a tricky issue was that Zora doesn’t allow users to deposit their creator tokens into a contract and then give that contract allowance to spend them. This made our initial reward distribution design unworkable. To overcome this, we had to rethink how tokens flow—leaning on Zora’s SDK and Base for seamless drops, and restructuring the reward logic so that players could still receive coins without requiring a direct deposit + allowance mechanism.
