We’re participating in Base India because we believe that the biggest hurdle for new users entering the crypto space is the complex and intimidating onboarding process. With Brewit, we’ve made it our mission to tackle this challenge head-on by creating a simple, user-friendly investment app that makes it easy for anyone to get started. Our goal is to make crypto accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or experience.
By participating in Base India, we see a huge opportunity to bring our vision to life on a platform that shares our values of openness, interoperability, and decentralization. Base’s powerful infrastructure allows us to deliver an experience that stays true to Web3 principles—keeping everything transparent, secure, and fully on-chain. We’re excited to contribute to the growing crypto ecosystem in India, empowering more people to confidently engage with the on-chain economy.
We’re focused on the challenge of giving our local community easy, straightforward access to the on-chain economy by simplifying the investment onboarding process. Right now, most non-custodial solutions are overly complex, especially for those new to crypto, creating barriers that discourage users from fully engaging.
Our goal is to change that by designing user flows that are intuitive and approachable, while still maintaining the security and decentralization principles of Web3. We’re making it possible for anyone, even beginners, to start investing with confidence, without being overwhelmed by the technical side of things. By breaking down these barriers, we’re opening the door for more people to explore and participate in the on-chain economy.
Our submission directly addresses this challenge by simplifying access to the on-chain economy through the use of advanced technologies like Account Abstraction and Modular Smart Accounts, all powered by Base. These innovations allow us to eliminate the complexity that typically comes with non-custodial solutions, making it much easier for users—especially beginners—to interact with crypto seamlessly.
We have built this solution entirely focussing on onboarding new users through Smart Accounts that can enable more functionalities such as automation, gasless transactions and adding layers of security. For Brewit, we have added Passkey based authentication using WebAuthn module, and seamless auto investments using Session Key and DCA module that will enable a third party scheduler to perform scoped operations on users' behalf. Use of modules will ensure security and user accessibilty to newer functionalities.
We’ve specifically chosen standards like ERC-4337 and ERC-7579 to tackle both usability and security issues. With Account Abstraction, users can manage their accounts without dealing with private key management or complex wallet interactions, while ERC-7579 ensures flexibility with smart modules that enhance account functionality. This combination delivers a user-friendly experience without sacrificing the core principles of decentralization, security, or interoperability.
In short, we're creating a bridge between users and the on-chain world by abstracting away the technical difficulties, ensuring a smooth and secure entry into the decentralized economy.
Since the tech and infrastructure behind Brewit are relatively new, there aren’t many tools available for debugging smart account module executions—especially when interacting with DeFi protocols. To overcome this, we had to replicate Base’s Mainnet DeFi infrastructure in our testing environment to properly evaluate investment flows. This led us to set up our own Bundler and RPC nodes on a forked Mainnet, allowing us to easily debug any issues that arise when dealing with Mainnet DeFi protocol interactions. This setup gave us greater control and visibility to ensure everything works seamlessly.
The project was built during the hackathon.
