The problem Breathe solves

A lot of people lost their loved ones during the pandemic due to lack of oxygen and it was very difficult to get a proper oxygen facility and services in the hospitals and hence they started purchasing oxygen cylinders, but still a majority of people had a difficult time finding cylinders.
So we came up with an idea where the vendors and the consumers shall come together so that we can save as many lives as possible.
We will try to approach the vendors around the town and will convince them to sign up with our app and fill up the details about the availability of the oxygen cylinders and the quantity along with it.
Simultaneously, we will spread the app among the people and ask them to share it with the people they know and the people in need.

We have tried to keep the interface of the app as simple as we can. The customer is required to sign up with their email and phone number. With the click of a button at the bottom of the screen you can find all the available vendors around you, just tap on the nearest vendor’s location to get the contact details and just book the cylinder.

Future Expansion :

Its existing tasks will help India heal and react quickly for the another wave of pandemic and we will soon add features like

1.Refilling of oxygen cylinders
2.Providing the other necessary equipment for oxygen cylinders and concentrators.
3.A door to door delievery service.

Challenges we ran into

Software development is always accompanied by some serious amount of bugs. Sometimes the UI fails to act on our accord and sometimes the backend never agrees with us. Setting up Google Maps api and have our app interact with the API was a serious hurdle for us. We did a lot of research on how the api works, specifically on how the markers on api return the exact coordinates and how can the marker help in triggering some action. Although with proper documentation and forum support, we overcame the hurdle but it took a lion's share of the project build time.
