The problem Brandts solves
Brandts addresses several key problems faced by both brands and content creators in the digital marketing space:
1. Trust and Transparency Issues:
Problem: Traditional advertising platforms often lack transparency, leading to trust issues between brands and creators.
Solution: By leveraging blockchain technology, Brandts ensures transparent and immutable transactions, building trust and accountability between all parties involved.
2. Complex Onboarding Processes:
Problem: Onboarding new users onto a platform can be cumbersome and time-consuming.
Solution: Brandts utilizes Coinbase Smart Connect to streamline the onboarding process, allowing users to easily connect their wallets and get started without hassle.
3. Payment Discrepancies:
Problem: Delayed or incorrect payments are common in traditional advertising models.
Solution: Funds are securely held in a smart contract and automatically distributed at the end of the campaign, ensuring timely and accurate payments to creators and brands.
4. Campaign Management Challenges:
Problem: Managing campaign details and tracking performance can be overwhelming for brands.
Solution: The Brandts dashboard provides a comprehensive suite of tools for brands to monitor and manage campaign performance, view detailed insights, and make data-driven decisions.

Challenges I ran into
1. Learning and Integrating New Technologies:
Challenge: Developing Brandts involved adopting and mastering several new technologies, in blockchain, smart contracts, and Coinbase Smart Connect. This learning curve was steep and required significant time and effort to ensure proper integration and functionality.
Solution: I approached this challenge with a structured learning plan. I utilized a combination of online courses, tutorials, and documentation to build a solid understanding of the new technologies. I also joined developer communities and forums to seek advice and share knowledge with peers facing similar challenges. By breaking down the learning process into manageable steps and continuously applying my newfound knowledge through practical projects before building the actual product, I gradually became proficient in these technologies. This hands-on approach not only accelerated my learning but also ensured that I could effectively integrate these technologies into Brandts.
2. Creating an Appealing and User-Friendly UI:
Challenge: Designing a user interface that is both visually appealing and easy to understand can be difficult. It requires a delicate balance between aesthetics and functionality to ensure that users find the platform intuitive and enjoyable to use.
Solution: To overcome this challenge, I focused on user-centered designs. I conducted extensive user research and gathered feedback through surveys and usability testing to understand the needs and preferences of my target audience. This iterative process allowed me to refine the design continuously. I also collaborated with experienced UI/UX designers to create wireframes and prototypes, ensuring that every design element served a purpose and enhanced the overall user experience.
