The problem Brain Canvas solves

Our web application addresses a common challenge faced by teams: the need for diverse visualizations such as process mapping, mind mapping, wireframing, and concept maps. However, existing technologies often require users to manually establish connections between ideas, resulting in time-consuming and labor-intensive processes. Our solution aims to streamline this by automating the creation of concept maps. While initially focused on concept mapping, our platform lays the groundwork for further automation across various visualization types, ultimately enhancing efficiency and productivity for teams.

Challenges we ran into

Automating Concept Map Creation: Tracking parent-child relationships for a directed graph posed a significant challenge in automatically generating the concept map.
Designing User Interface: Crafting a neat, simple, and intuitive user interface presented a major difficulty, requiring careful consideration of usability and aesthetics.
Developing a Generalized Template: Designing and implementing a versatile and powerful template for various use cases proved to be a challenging task, requiring extensive planning and iteration.
