Squad up. Fight hard. Earn more.
The problem BORC solves
Based Onchain Raiders Corps. or BORC is a PvE multiplayer miniapp on the baseapp, it features a squad of 3 players diving onchain to battle bugs, complete missions together and keep nodes running while competing for rewards.
Challenges I ran into
As an indie game developer, the biggest challenge i have faced is creating assets i.e UI, sprites and background. It is difficult juggling between designing assets and writing logic.
First time working with Colyseus, got stumped a lot

What is your product’s unique value proposition?
BORC’s unique value lies in its real-time, squad-based multiplayer system built entirely on decentralized wallet identities, removing traditional logins while ensuring secure, seamless play.
The alpha build validates this by demonstrating instant wallet-linked(will be basenames soon) matchmaking, synchronized gameplay, and peer-to-peer interaction through Colyseus networking.
Who is your target customer?
Our target customers are gamers on the BaseApp looking for fun, social experiences they can share with friends.
Who are your closest competitors and how are you different?
Closest Competitor: Slay by Farverse( https://slay.farverse.games/ ): a Web3 “slay-to-earn” game focused on individual performance and token-based rewards.
How We’re Different:
Our mini app focuses on team-based multiplayer gameplay inside the Base app, not just solo earning. Players squad up, complete missions, and compete on leaderboards for shared rewards; making it more social, cooperative, and replayable. Unlike Slay, which prioritizes token incentives, our approach builds community, retention, and fun-first experiences native to Base’s ecosystem.
To be frank the co-op multiplayer scene on the Base App is none existent and what we're building is in many ways incomparable with the existing apps.
What is your distribution strategy and why?
We’ll launch natively in the Base app, targeting active Base users through community channels like Farcaster and X. Leaderboards, rewards, and cross-project missions will drive viral, squad-based growth. This works because Base users already share and discover new mini apps socially; we’re building the one they’ll actually play together.
