The problem Book-O-Matic solves

For readers,
Finding and getting updates on our favourite books takes a lot of time and unnecessary clicks, from checking multiple sites and turning to untested news Sources.
while for writers,
Posting their updates in different domains makes it difficult to advertise and appeal to a larger audience.

This app supports content Writers by allowing them to post updates and also attach photos to their post. When subscribed, the audience can receive notifications instantly to not miss out on their favourite content.

Challenges we ran into

There is currently no good Book API for getting a list of books to use as tags, So we came up with using genre as tags Instead. Goodreads API used to exist for this but has since been discontinued.
