The problem BMACC: Buy-Me-A-Crypto-Coffee solves

BMACC (Buy-Me-A-Crypto-Coffee) solves a key problem faced by modern creators, helpers and service workers: getting fair, direct support from their audience or community without relying on ads, algorithms or middlemen.

Yes, there are some tipping features on platforms like YouTube or X, but what's missing in the crypto space is a simple, dedicated page where creators can naturally ask for support - like offering someone a coffee.

Something along the lines of:
“Enjoying my content? How about buying me a coffee?”
“Like what I’m doing? A coffee is a nice way to show appreciation.”
BMACC fills that gap by making it easy and human to ask for small crypto tips in a way that feels casual, friendly and familiar.

The best part about BMACC is that anyone can have a profile - whether it’s a YouTuber from Berlin, a podcaster from Boston, a wannabe Instagram chef from Bogota or even a real-life waitress from Sydney or a street musician from Delhi. It’s all about a QR code, a link, and just 3 clicks - crypto coffee/tip goes to your wallet!

Challenges I ran into

  1. Convincing my wife that “buy me a crypto coffee” is a real business idea.

  2. UI/UX: Making crypto simple and intuitive
A key challenge was creating a user experience that feels natural - even for those new to crypto. We focused on designing BMACC to be as easy and friendly as ordering a coffee, without the usual Web3 complexity.
One of the main goals is to bring onchain people outside of crypto.

  3. We initially considered integrating NFTs as part of the tipping experience, but to keep things simple and accessible, we decided to focus on direct tips in ETH and USDC - sent straight to the creator’s wallet. No extra steps, just straightforward tip.
