Challenges I ran into

While developing the BMACC platform, one significant hurdle we faced was handling scalability issues as our user base will grew. Specifically, ensuring that the blockchain infrastructure could efficiently manage an increasing volume of microtransactions without lag or excessive fees, which are critical for real-time crypto tips.

How We Overcame the Challenge:

Optimizing Blockchain Interactions: We initially considered a standard blockchain approach, which led to slow transaction times during peak periods due to network congestion. To address this, we plan our smart contracts to reduce the computational load and batched transactions where possible. This will decrease the gas costs and improve transaction processing times.

Implementing Layer 2 Solutions: To further enhance scalability and reduce costs, we plan a Layer 2 scaling solution. This involve moving much of the transactional workload off the main Ethereum network to a secondary layer, which could handle transactions faster and more economically.
