Onchain Aura

The problem Bluera solves

Today’s Web3 social graphs capture who users are and who they follow, but not what they do onchain; what they build, trade, or own. This gap hides the behavioral richness of Web3 identities and makes personalization, discovery, and composability nearly impossible.

As a result:

  • Onchain social protocols can’t surface meaningful user insights.
  • Developers lack an accessible financial data layer for personalization or analytics.
  • Users’ onchain achievements remain invisible — disconnected from their social presence.

Bluera solves this by making the invisible visible, connecting onchain actions to social identity.

Challenges I ran into

While building this project, I struggled quite a bit with the Base app configuration — it turned out to be more complex than I initially expected.

Integrating the Farcaster SDK to fetch notification enable data was also tricky, and structuring the Moralis API data within our own Supabase schema required careful planning and debugging.

However, using Wagmi for the smart contract integrations made things much easier. Initially, I thought I’d need to interact with the contracts through a different SDK inside the Base mini app, but Wagmi simplified that process significantly.

What is your product’s unique value proposition?

Through Aura Cards (dynamic, verifiable identity layers) and a wallet data aggregation engine, Bluera creates living onchain profiles that visualize a user’s onchain footprint. This unlocks a new dimension of trust and relevance across Web3 social experiences.

Unlike general analytics or identity tools, Bluera focuses specifically on:

  • Composable data for developers, enabling mini-apps and protocols to build personalized features.
  • User-facing identity tools, Aura Cards make onchain flexing and discovery natural and social.
  • Interoperability with Farcaster and Base, integrating with existing verified wallet identities.

In short: Bluera turns Web3 identity into an open, dynamic layer of reputation, context, and meaning.

Who is your target customer?

Bluera serves two primary audiences within the Base and Farcaster ecosystems:

  1. Web3 Users & Creators:
  • Those who already use Farcaster or Base-based apps.
  • They want to show off, personalize, and connect based on their onchain footprint - through Aura Cards and identity profiles.
  1. Developers & Protocol Builders:
  • Builders who want access to standardized, composable wallet data to create better experiences: recommendation engines, social mini-apps, analytics, and campaigns.
  • Bluera becomes the “social & onchain data API” layer for the Web3 ecosystem.

Together, these audiences make Bluera both consumer-facing (identity and flex) and infrastructure-facing (data and personalization layer).

Who are your closest competitors and how are you different?

Our closest competitors include:

Both are strong Farcaster mini apps that focus on specific aspects of onchain identity and social proof. Emerge allows users to create cards and acquire onchain licenses while Inflynce visualizes user activity through a heatmap interface.

Bluera takes a broader and more expressive approach. We built it as the missing layer of mini apps, a place where your onchain aura becomes visible. Instead of focusing on a single function, Bluera aggregates multiple onchain metrics such as token activity, trading volume, ecosystem participation and social interactions to create a unified onchain aura score.

This aura acts as a living onchain identity that evolves with user behavior. Bluera gamifies this through aura-based ranks, visual heatmaps and rewards that make being active onchain social, collectible and fun.

In short, Emerge lets users mint identity cards and Inflynce shows activity patterns. Bluera turns the entire onchain experience into a dynamic system of status, reputation and engagement.

What is your distribution strategy and why?

Bluera’s go-to-market and growth strategy leverages both network-driven adoption and developer integration:

  1. Farcaster & Base Ecosystem Launch:
  • Launch within Farcaster channels where wallet-verified users already exist.
  • Allow instant wallet connection and Aura Card creation with one click (“Connect to Bluera”).
  1. Mini-App Integrations
  • Provide APIs and SDKs for Base-native apps to integrate Bluera’s identity and analytics layers.
  • Early partners: campaign tools, NFT marketplaces, DAOs, and discovery platforms.
  1. Social Virality via Aura Cards
  • Aura Cards act as visual identity flex tools - users share them, generating organic visibility across networks.
  1. Partnerships with Developer Ecosystems
  • Work with Base, Farcaster, and related protocols to position Bluera as the standard for onchain social identity enrichment.
