The problem Blue-Home solves
Before six months, my friend Kishore met with an accident. I went to his house. He felt very difficult and very struggling to operate their electrical appliances inside the home. And, also physically challenged people and old age people are very struggling to operate their electrical appliances inside the home without others help. Smart home users want to on/off their electrical appliances without moving. So, we came up with the solution home automation. But home automation was already existing in market with low range-high cost by using different protocols like Wi-Fi, ZigBee, amazon alexa and internet must be needed. But user does not need necessarily want internet to operate their electrical appliances inside the home. Our Bluetooth based home automation creates a new revolution among the home automation, which operates at long range-low cost. It is done by using Master-Slave technology. Hence the number of the processing can be reduced for each room. Hence, the user can operate any electrical appliances from any part of the home. We developed an appropriate android app to control the appliances with three modes-Live, motion, emergency mode. In live mode, we can usually operate the electrical appliances inside the home. In motion mode. Automatically off the electrical appliances with respect to the motion. If unless motion doesn’t inside the home all electrical appliances will be automatically off. Hence, we save electricity also. In emergency mode, automatically make SMS, calls to neighbors, relatives, nearby hospitals, nearby ambulances- when if the users met any heart attack or pain on his body. Smart security and voice recognition are also provided by our product.
Challenges I ran into
Our product is especially for physically challenged people, Old age people and smart home user. We would take a field survey of about physically challenged people, Old age people and smart home user. In India alone, there will be an about of 29 million people are suffering from disability like physically disability, visual impairment, etc. In 2026, the old age people that means senior citizens will grow up of about 173 million people in India. In 2026, smart home users are expected to 31.9 million. Hence, there will be a huge market size for our product and lakhs of customer wants to buy our product, Therefore, our product will surely hit in our market. The product differentiation shows that the comparison of our product to existing product. Existing product doesn’t provide any long-range communication with cost efficient. And it should require an internet, and doesn’t provide any security. But our product will operate at long range with affordable cost by using master-slave communication. Our product provided with smart security, compatibility, voice recognition without internet. Our competitors are amazon alexa, google assistant. They should not provide long range communication to operate the electrical appliances inside the home. They don’t use master-slave technology, because they will be using a conventional technology. We would complete research on Bluetooth wireless communication and know about of master-slave concept in our syllabus and we should implement on real time application. Hence, user can operate from long range communication with low cost. The business model will show our key activities of our product. To develop a marketing plan strategy and to develop a software as well as hardware and finally to qualify the hardware. Key partners of our product are home builders and also a hardware vendor, electricians. Key resources of our product are done with sale and marketing our product and physical cloud dealers.
