Estimating the number of Web3 users globally can be challenging due to the decentralized nature of the ecosystem and varying definitions of what constitutes a Web3 user. However, as of late 2023, some estimates suggest that there are around 300 million cryptocurrency users worldwide. This number includes users of wallets, exchanges, and various blockchain platforms.

Given the global population is approximately 8 billion, this means Web3 users represent about 3.75% of the total population.

In specific regions, like Indonesia, the adoption may vary significantly, with local user rates influenced by factors such as technology access, economic conditions, and regulatory frameworks. For the most accurate and up-to-date figures, consulting recent market research or reports from blockchain analytics firms would be beneficial.
