During the hackathon, we faced the multifaceted challenge of building a full-stack, gamified educational platform under a tight deadline. On the technical front, developing a dynamic single-page application with JavaScript required us to meticulously manage state and manually handle UI updates to ensure a responsive experience. This complexity was amplified during full-stack integration, where we worked to seamlessly connect our frontend to a Python Flask backend, carefully configuring CORS policies to enable the interactive challenge validation. Beyond the code, we focused heavily on creating meaningful educational content, which involved researching critical smart contract vulnerabilities and designing clear, engaging exercises for beginners. We then unified these technical and educational components by implementing an effective gamification system, carefully balancing XP rewards and achievements to create a motivating feedback loop that makes learning about complex security topics both rewarding and enjoyable.
