The problem BitxelApp solves

BitxelApp was born from a simple, powerful conviction: Web3 gaming has a soul, and it's time to let it shine. "We" solve the critical problems holding the space back by building an experience that is, first and foremost, incredibly fun. Forget the confusing onboarding and the gameplay that feels like a chore. We offer a mobile-first, strategically deep Trading Card Game that uses the power of the Base blockchain not as a barrier, but as a turbocharger for the entire experience. When you enter BitxelApp, you're not just connecting a wallet; you're stepping into a complete, self-sustaining ecosystem designed to respect your time, your intelligence, and your ownership
The core of the experience is our TCG battle mode, a system I have poured countless months into as a solo developer to ensure it's a true test of skill. This isn't a game of bigger numbers; it's a tense duel of predictions, resource management, and calculated risks. You'll weigh the advantage of your card's "Protocol," decide if a risky Nitro boost is worth the potential backfire, and strategically deploy powerful Gadgets that can completely turn the tide of a race. Every match is a story, and every victory is earned. But the battle is just the beginning. BitxelApp is a platform designed for a long-term journey. You'll take your hard-earned vehicles and build the perfect synergistic deck in our DeckBuilder. You'll prove your knowledge of the digital world in the Wisdom Races, earning real rewards while becoming a smarter Web3 citizen. You'll craft a unique identity in the ProfileScreen, equipping cosmetic items that make your presence in the game truly your own

What truly sets BitxelApp apart, however, is our unbreakable bond with our community. This entire platform has been built on the back of feedback from a thriving Discord of over 490 members who have been with me every step of the way. They are more than users; they are co-builders. That's why our model is designed to give back. We are committed to sharing the success of this platform with the very people who make it special: our NFT holders. By joining BitxelApp, you're not just buying access to a game; you're becoming a stakeholder in a community-owned platform where your engagement is directly rewarded through exclusive giveaways and on-chain, trustless raffles powered by Base. BitxelApp solves the problem of Web3 feeling transactional by making it relational. It’s a place to play, learn, compete, own, and grow—together!
Our Gambling and Betting Arena is ready to offer those who want to win the opportunity to multiply their winnings... We'll have real-life sports betting powered by blockchain, and much more!
Challenges I ran into
My biggest challenges have been work and positioning. With purely operational resources and no established partners in the market, Bitxel Roads could take a while to emerge. A good product isn't enough; you have to make it reach the masses and ensure that every user feels identified. The contracts have also taken a long time to identify the goals to avoid errors and, frankly, building something of this scale as a solo developer is a relentless gauntlet. It's not just about writing code; it's about being the architect, the bug hunter, the community manager, and the visionary all at once, fueled by passion and the unwavering support of my Discord community.
One of the most technically grueling hurdles was architecting the smart contracts for our G&B Arena, specifically the raffles. My initial vision was simple, but the reality of creating a trustless, on-chain system is a minefield of potential exploits. The first challenge was ensuring true, verifiable randomness. This led me down the rabbit hole of Chainlink VRF on the Base network. Integrating it wasn't just plug-and-play; it required a deep understanding of the subscription model, callback gas limits, and the asynchronous nature of requesting and receiving random words. My first few testnet contracts were either getting stuck waiting for a fulfillment that never came or running out of gas during the callback. I overcame this through methodical testing, creating specific Hardhat scripts to deploy, fund, and stress-test every function, and by meticulously studying the Chainlink developer documentation until the flow from request to fulfillment was absolutely bulletproof. This process also forced me to design the contract to be deployed on a per-raffle basis, which, while increasing initial setup, completely isolates each raffle, making the entire system more secure and modular.
Beyond the technical, the sheer challenge of building trust as an independent project in a notoriously skeptical NFT market has been immense. Without the backing of a big studio or known partners, every step has been a battle for legitimacy. This is where the community became my greatest asset. I overcame this by adopting a policy of radical transparency, sharing progress, setbacks, and code snippets directly with my Discord members. They weren't just an audience; they became my QA team and my sounding board. This approach also directly influenced my technical roadmap. I realized that to build trust, I had to push the boundaries of what's possible on-chain. This is what led me to explore the BRC-721E standard.
The idea of creating a system where NFTs can be "rented" or "delegated" without transferring ownership is a game-changer for utility and security. Implementing this on Base presents a unique challenge, as it's a newer standard and requires bridging concepts from Bitcoin Ordinals to an EVM environment. My current research involves dissecting the core logic of BRC-721E—its on-chain inscription and state management—and architecting a Solidity interface that can bring this functionality to life on Base, potentially creating one of the first truly cross-chain compatible asset standards. It’s a massive undertaking, but overcoming these challenges is what will transform BitxelApp from just another game into a pioneering platform.
