The problem Bitwars - Web3 Game solves
Traditional gaming has been plagued with issues such as a lack of transparency and ownership. This is where blockchain-based games come in, and they solve these problems effectively. With Web3 games, players can ensure transparency and ownership. Additionally, smart contracts allow for automated transactions, cutting out middlemen and reducing transaction costs.
Additionally, BitWars leverages smart contracts to automate the gameplay and transactions, creating a trustless environment where players can be assured that the game is fair and transparent. This eliminates the need for middlemen, reducing transaction costs and increasing efficiency.
Challenges I ran into
During the development of BitWars, several challenges were encountered. Here are some of the major challenges:
Smart contract integration: Integrating the smart contract with the front end was a significant challenge. It involved understanding how to call functions from the smart contract on the front end, as well as how to update the user interface in real-time based on data from the blockchain.
Push Protocol implementation: Implementing the Push Protocol for real-time communication between players was another challenge. It involved understanding how to use the Push Protocol libraries and APIs, as well as integrating it with the game's backend to handle messaging between players.
