The problem BitsBhojan solves
It is for the connectivity between user and admin (mess/Tiffin) centers where the admin gets an option to donate the food remains , so it ultimately solves the problem of food wastage. We will also give sustainabe rating to the mess/Tiffin centers To check how sustainable they are. This Project has tackled local problems like connectivity, proper communication , minimising . Food wastage as the food remains goes to the NGOs. It is beneficil for both mess/Tiffin centers and the people in need i.e. the one who needs food. A good connection is needed between the user and the ness/tiffin centers so that a smooth process is ensured. Our portal does not promise delivery of the food but ensures proper interaction between the users and the consumers. Minimising food wastage is one of the major concerns thus in our portal we address the problem and make it easier for the mess and tiffin centers to connect to the local needies. The students when does not eat food can get the satisfaction of doing a good deed.
Challenges we ran into
We encountered difficulties successfully controlling our team's workload as our project was being developed.
Ineffective task management resulted in missed deadlines, misunderstandings among teammates, and elevated stress levels: We used a project management application to better coordinate tasks and due dates in order to overcome this difficulty. We ensured that everyone in the team understood their roles and deadlines by establishing clear lines of communication.
When integrating our machine learning model with the front-end interface, we ran into the following technical difficulties: Even though we were excited at first, we had moments of doubt and despair when we couldn't figure out the code. But with persistence and cooperation, we overcame these obstacles and succeeded in achieving a working integration.
We found it difficult to integrate every feature we had in mind for our mobile app in the little amount of time we had available.
We had periods of uncertainty and worry about our capacity to produce a polished product as the deadline drew near. Our team prioritized essential elements to guarantee a successful showcase, staying resilient and focused despite the time constraints.
The input we got from judges and mentors made us reevaluate our original assumptions and change the course of our research.
We were initially reluctant to stray from our original strategy because we thought that significant adjustments might impede our advancement. Nevertheless, we appreciated the usefulness of critical criticism and seized the chance to improve our idea, which ultimately resulted in a more robust and significant resolution.
