The problem BitHounds solves

BitHounds is an online collectible hound NFT platform that uses procedural generation and lives on the Tezos Blockchain. A collectible item in this platform, a hound is a unique creature with stats that determine its value such as breed, rarity and generation among others. Users can buy/sell or breed hounds to give birth to a new generation hound. Based on the moon phase the hounds having same moon affiliation will have their characteristics enhanced in that phase.

Challenges we ran into

1. We faced hurdles in deciding upon the logic on how the Hound will be generated randomly and how on Breeding two hounds the child hound will get the characteristics from parents but upon mutual discussion and suggestions from mentors we where able to decide upon that.
2. We ran into problems on generating random number on-chain for hound generation but on discussion with our mentors at Tezos India we where able to find a way through it.
