Our goal is to educate and generate access to the largest number of people in Latin America about the possibilities and benefits of blockchain technologies. Base is one of the chains with the highest activity and technological development, which makes our community building work easier and provides us with accessible costs and fast transaction speeds to make the process of onboarding new users even easier.

La Blocka is a Mexican project, and we believe that the best way to approach people to decentralized systems is through games and stories related to our culture, in a fun and entertaining way, thus lowering the entry barrier.

In establishing and implementing a onboarding system for the common denominator in economically disadvantaged areas, including housewives, elderly adults, etc. whose income sometimes includes foreign remittances.

Our biggest challenge in this particular project is how to create a user experience where it makes sense to use both; the offline part of the Bingo game and the use of a wallet and dapp, in a seamless way that invites the user to return to use their wallet repeatedly, to generate familiarity with the handling of on-chain assets and integrate it into the use of communities, to generate parallel and circular economies with the use of Base Chain technologies and services.

One of the great Mexican traditions since the 19th century is to play this board game "Lotería" or "Bingo" in family gatherings and parties with friends, where people of all ages and economic backgrounds can participate. They take a 4x4 board, and "the presenter" takes the deck of 54 cards and "sings" (or narrates) a rhyme related to the card before showing it. The participants place markers on the elements that come up on the cards shown by "the presenter". When someone fills the board, they shout "Lotería" or "Bingo" and win the game, taking the grand prize, with optional additional prizes for those who achieve the first patterns on their board, such as lines, diagonals, or four completed corners.

Our way of creating new users is through IRL events where the administrator explains the game rules to the participants, mentioning the game prize, creates their wallets, and "sings" the rhymes of the cards, creating curiosity among the participants about their meaning. The Bingo prize is a commemorative Bingo-nbording NFT from the session, which can be linked or not to a digital or IRL Airdrop, depending on the sponsor.

Our first iteration of Bingo-nbording game is very similar to the card game of "La Lotería Mexicana*", with some adjustments:

• The boards are 3x3.
• The deck is of 24 cards.
• People do not bet with money but with self-destructing point tokens (important for legal reasons).
• To play, people create and connect their Smart Wallet to our website.
• Participants create a .base.eth address
• Participants receive a Bingo-nbording NFT on Base Chain.
• A WEB-based system randomizes and delivers the cards.
• Each card is announced to the audience.
• The board is filled with markers.
• Only one person wins "bingo" by filling the board.
• The winner receives an NFT as a prize, which can optionally be exchanged for a physical prize, such as a plushie or merch.

The regulation in Mexico regarding "Gaming and Betting" is quite restrictive, we cannot allow people to bet money, and we also cannot give direct prizes to participants, so we created a tokenomics with NFTs which will be linked to a physical prize such as: keychains, plushies, stickers, etc...

Initially, we thought of creating a completely on-chain game with frames in Farcaster, but the limitations of time, resources, and team prevented us from fully developing this version of the proposal. Therefore, we would like to win funding in this Buildathon to develop the complete version of the proposal.
