The angle between driver and road is calibrated to zero at the beginning. When the bike meets with an accident or crashes down, the angle increases and crosses a set threshold value, in this case, the rider needs to marks himself safe within a window of two minutes, in case of a minor accident. In major accidents, where the rider fails to stop the alarm, an Emergency message is generated that contains the GPS coordinates of the rider which are sent to the nearest Police station as well as a health center. Apart from that, the system contains a mobile application which allows the family members to access the rider’s location in real time once he meets with an accident.
